Jewelry Stand

Good afternoon! Is your jewelry everywhere, is it all messy, unorganized, or have you lost a set? Well I think this can help solve your problem(s). You will need the following:
  • Plastic or glass cup or wine glass
  • Beads(optional)
  • flowers(optional)
  • hot glue gun and sticks
  • saucers
There are a bunch of different ways to make this so be creative, improvise, and have fun!

You should plug in your glue gun. Get your cup or glass and glue it face down on first saucer. (decorate inside glass with something like flowers). Glue saucer on top. If you want, line beads on edges. Now glue next cup if you want another on top. Whatever your top is, decorate with flowers. Pain anything you want, etc. Enjoy with this cute little jewelry organizer!

Macrame Spiral Bracelet

Hello! Sorry I haven’t been on here for a long time! But, anyways now I’m gonna tell  you ( as best as I can ) how to make a macramé bracelet.
The things you will need
· Hemp cord (or just string it will be a thinner bracelet)
· Scissors
· Clipboard and tape or wood and nail
· Beads
· And big bead( preferred but optional )
So first, get scissors and string and cut four 3ft pieces. At one end make loop and put under clip on clipboard otherwise put loop on nail. Next, find the two side strings and put them on side, find two middle strings and tape at bottom on clipboard/table or whatever your woodblock is on.
Ok, so for the knotting it will be very confusing to understand but doing is super easy. Pick a side not a string, and make  a big loop making a C, placing on top of two middle strings. Take opposite sting and put on top of tail of loop, under two middle strings, and pull up through loop. Repeat doing this with same side not string, a spiral should appear.
When you want to put a bead, remove tape and put bead through middle stings. Putting wax may help, if still not working, just put one string through hole of bead. Do the same knots and just keep repeating til you want to put another bead. Do same process.
When you are done with your bracelet, tie a big bead with big hole through both middle strings and tie knot, any type. Now, when you wear the bracelet, put loop over big bead on other end and it should stay pretty secure.
Enjoy! Comment if you still don’t get it, otherwise just look up a video.

CD Coasters

Do you like shiny or round stuff - or both? If yes, you'll probably like this! Take a couple of old CD's or DVDs and make this! Get beads, glitter, gems, fabrics, markers, and/or paint and start crafting! I used a hot glue gun-of course! and cover the CD with a piece of fabric or leave blank for shiny look! Decorate, only the rim, with any 3D objects. You can also use a stamp for a flower in the middle or something. Otherwise use markers and just color/draw on your CD! Enjoy, hope you had fun making these!

Letter Rocks

I got this idea from somewhere( I forgot) but it was originally a huge rock as a paper weight which had a word on it. So, I made this! I got small rocks which would hold a letter from my name. I decoupaged it with tissue paper and white Elmer's glue. Then, with a sharpie just wrote the letters and put them on a shelf!

Bottle Cap Pin Cushions!

Hey! Small things are so cute and so that's why I made these! BOTTLE CAP PIN CUSHIONS! With fabric or felt and a little stuffing, you can make one of these! Items needed;
  • bottle cap
  • hot glue gun or thread and needle
  • fabric
  • little embellishment(optional)
Get your bottle cap(clean) and cut a strip of fabric for the circumference and either glue it on or just wait to sew to other pieces.Glue(if sewing sew circle along edge with strip)the bottom circle on cap. Next, lightly stuff the bottle cap and get a circle for the top. Now glue edges or sew. If you want, make an apple or get something to put on the top's middle. I make a little apple on left and sewed it on. You could just glue it on though. And, you're done!

My Family

Alright so...
  • I'm Courtney- 11 yrs. old.
  • I have a sister, Clarissa-21.
  • A brother, Carl-19
  • Mom
  • Dad
  • A maltese(dog), Thunder- 4 or now about 30 in dog years :(
and, thats all I am going to put pretty much! :P

Orchids

Aren't these orchids just beautiful? I just had to take a picture. My sister, Clarissa but orchids for my mom's birthday too, but its dying...I used the flowers for a craft though! They're in a book right now, lolz.

Flower accesories!

Here are some flowers I made! I bought flowers in a bunch from Michael's for 1$.
The things you need are
  • flowers
  • cardboard
  • scissors
  • hot glue gun and sticks
  • embellishments:bead, jewel, button,etc.
  • and clip or pin
Now, you just cut the flowers off the stems, use 5-6 to make a whole one. Use a square piece of cardboard( about an inch) as base for flowers, glue them  in circle, leave room for embellishment(s). If you want a bigger flower then make 3 in middle with 7 going around, make them the same color or different, like shown in picture. Finally, glue embellishment in the middle, glue pin or clip on back and tada, cute accessory!

Laundry Sheet Flowers

Today, there were used laundry sheets and so I took them. This is what I made with them and with a couple other things. What you need is:
  • laundry sheets(about two if gonna make just on flower)
  • hot glue gun
  • embellishments
  • glitter(optional)
  • little flower(optional)
  • clip or whatever thing you need to put on the back(like if its a brooch, hair clip, etc.)
  • mat(optional)
So, first you have to get some laundry sheets, fold them in half as many times to get about the size petal you want, get scissors and cut a petal shape. Unfold, and get 5 or 6 petals and just put a dot of glue on tip and put another on(use mat to have petals and hot glue gun on if wanted). You can make different sizes or all the same, I used 4 layers to make one whole flower. Next you layer the layers and glue them all together in the middle. Embellish middle with button, jewel, little flower, etc. Use your glitter to either sprinkle on petals or to just put on the edge of petals. Enjoy!
